RobotiX Chess Institute Monthly Scholastic Swiss

The RobotiX Chess Institute is now hosting a monthly scholastic swiss tournament!

When: The first Saturday of every month. Registration is from 3:30-4:00 PM. First round begins promptly at 4:30PM.

Format: 3 Rounds Swiss (If low turnout occurs on a given month, format may be changed to round-robin quads). 

Time Control: G/30d5

Sections: Unrated, U700, U1200, U1600, and Open (Sections may be split or combined as needed).

Entry Fee: $15

Other Important Info: 

-Players not registered and checked-in by 4:15 PM of the tournament day or those registered without a valid USCF ID will be given a zero-point bye for round 1.

-Byes: 1 half-point bye may be requested until 30 minutes before round 1. All byes requested during the event will be for zero points.
