Onsite Registration: 7:45 - 8:30 AM
First round starts at: 9:00 AM, opening announcements at 8:45 AM
Registrations at the door will receive a first-round half point bye and start playing in round 2

Format: 5 Round Swiss, non-elimination. All concurrent rounds start ASAP
G/30, +5 delay. Please bring your timers.
Awards: Ceremony estimated around 4:30 PM.
Trophies - Top 3 individuals
Team awards: 2 places per section
Special: Raffle for special designer boards brought to you by Brio Boards (www.brioboards.com)
Note: Championship sections, MUST go to school in or live in Region III to get 1st place. If not, the next in line who is a resident will get champ trophy for that section.
Concessions: food court on site Equipment: chess sets provided Byes: available
Lunch: Yes, designated lunch period after rd 3.
Pre-Registration: $30 if by Feb 16 $35 if between Feb 17-23; $40 for walk-ins day of event
Payment & Registration: https://www.chesschallenge.us Deadline is 9pm Friday before event. You may purchase your USCF membership through the portal above. Most recent supplement will be used. We will not accept mailed entries. If you want to pay by check or cash, you need to notify me and then you may pay at the door. If you are a school wanting to pay for your students, please email me for a special spreadsheet. There is no check-in. You will see advanced entries online. Everyone on that list will be paired for round 1.
