Region III

All K-12th players who reside in Texas may play in this tournament. However, only region III locals can officially be crowned champion if winning one of the championship sections.

Location: Music City Mall Lewisville ; 2401 S Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, TX 75067

8 Sections: K-1 Championship, K-3 U500, K-3 Championship, K-6 U800, K-6 Championship, Middle School / High School U1000, Middle School Championship (6th-8th grade). High School Championship (9th-12th grade).

Awards to top 6 individuals and top 2 teams, in every section.

In the main event a team is defined as two or more players from the same school in the same section. Teams can be however large they would like to be. However when we calculate a teams score we only use the top 4 performing players from that team. Players do not have to be part of a team to participate in this event.

Schedule

5 Rounds G30 D5. USCF Rated.

Projected schedule: 1st round, 9:00AM. 2nd round, 10:30AM. 3rd round, 12:00AM. Lunch break, till 2:00PM. 4th round, 2:00PM. 5th round, 3:30PM. Awards ceremony, 4:45PM.

Registration and additional info

Early registration is $36 online, and will be $42 after Jan 18th. After Jan 24th the online entry will be $60 and the same for on-site. On-site registration will be from 8:00am-8:30am tournament morning.

BROADCASTING: If you would like to watch your kids game LIVE then purchase the broadcasting option for just $45! We will have all the games displayed live on our website for players who opted in for broadcasting.

Shirts: For just $24 you can purchase a commemorative Region III shirt! On-site the shirts will be $35.

Notation is required in all the championship sections. USCF ID is required.
