Queen City Championship (Women and Girls' Tournament)

The Queen City Championship, Saturday January 11, 2025. Women and girls of all ages welcome. 4-round Swiss, G/45;d5, regular and quick rated section. $15 entry for the first player of each class before November 1. $25 entry otherwise. Prizes: $75 to first place, $50 to second place, $25 to third place. Prizes are based on ten paid entries. Current US Chess Federation membership is required. Rounds: 11 AM, 1 PM, 2:45 PM, 4:15 PM. The Queen City Blitz Tournament, Saturday January 11, 2025. Women and girls of all ages who are NOT US Chess Federation members are welcome. 4-round Swiss blitz. G/5;d0 (each player gets 5 minutes per game). $10 entry. 1-year US Chess Federation membership for top finishers, depending on the number of entries. First place is guaranteed a membership. For every five entries, memberships will be bought for 2nd, 3rd, etc. Those winning US Chess Federation memberships also win free entry in the rated Queen City Championship beginning at 11:00 AM. Rounds: 10 AM, 10:10 AM, 10:20 AM, 10:30 AM.
