QUADZILLA IV

Saturday, October 25.
Oklahoma City Chess Club
10 NE 10th Street in downtown OKC.

Quads, G/60;+10

A three-game round robin with similarly rated players*. Players will be split into groups of four based on their ratings. If the lowest-rated group is not an even four players, they will play a mini-Swiss tournament. QUADZILLA trophy to each quad winner.

Schedule
Doors open at 9. Check in by 9:45! Round one starts at 10.

Entry: $30 Enter online here.
Discount entry by October 23: $25 for seniors (65+), siblings or spouses registering together, and full-time college students.

New players: Entry fee at your first tournament will be waived if you register and purchase your US Chess membership through us by October 23. Visit this page to get that done.

No byes or early withdrawals at this tournament. (Since it's a round robin, missing a round forces someone else to miss that round, too.

Check-in is required for all players. Even if you've preregistered and paid, you must check in by 9:45.**

A current US Chess membership is required. If your membership is not current by 9:45 on tournament day, you will not be put in a quad. Check your membership here (opens in a new window). If you need to join/renew, use this form.

*Players are grouped by rating, so there is typically not a huge ratings disparity. But we're not making any promises.

**We can't start on time if we have to redo the quads to accommodate a player who arrives late. But no worries if you're running behind—just send a text to (405) 642-6136 before 9:45 and we'll put you in a quad.
