Who Can Play?
Open to all K–12 students. Both rated and unrated players are welcome. No previous tournament experience needed!
What to Bring
Chess clock (if available)
Pen or pencil for notation
Personal snacks or nut-free lunch (optional)
Boards and pieces will be provided.
Format & Time Control
Swiss system format – 3 or 4 rounds depending on section
Time control: G40/d5 for the Championship section, G25/d5 (25 minutes per player with 5-second delay) for all the other sections
Awards & Sections
Trophies for top 6 players in each afternoon section
Top 4 in Championship Section (rating 1000–1400)
Team trophies awarded
Participation medals for all players

Entry Fee: $50 online / $60 onsite (space permitting)
Food & Amenities
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Players may bring a nut-free lunch. A supervised break area will be provided.
