Event Overview
The Presidential Pawn Storm, a tournament for K-12 scholastic players of all levels. Chess sets will be provided for all and clocks for the top two sections.
Site: Solon Community Center, 35000 Portz Parkway, Solon, OH 44139 Great playing conditions! Snack bar and WiFi available on site.
Free pizza lunch offered for players, two slices, drink.
Format: 4 Rounds paired ASAP, lunch break after round two. USCF Rated.
Sections: Five sections to accommodate players of all levels! Championship, Under 1400, Under 1000, Under 700, Under 400/unrated.
February supplement ratings will be used to determine sections. Sections with a low number of participants may be combined.
Time Limit: G/30; d5.
Entry Fee: $35 by 9 PM 2/18; No on-site entries!
Free USCF membership included (for new or expired memberships only).
Schedule: Doors open at 8:30AM. Round 1: 9:30 AM sharp! Estimated Completion: U400, U700, U1000: 2PM. U1400, Championship: 3PM.

Online registration closes at 9pm 2/18.
Prizes: Trophies to all players scoring 3 or higher, medals to all participants.
