ROUND 1 STARTS AT 10 AM.

Chess sets and clocks are provided.
 
 
Format: 4 Round Swiss, no elimination, 1 half-point bye allowed if declared before round 1. Games are USCF-rated for K-12 Open, K-12 U1200, K-12 U900, K-12 U600, K-6 U300 sections which require current US Chess membership. Games are not USCF rated in Nonrated sections which do not require US Chess membership. 

Time Control: G45, d5 for K-12 Open & U1200 sections; G30, d5 for other sections. Round 1 starts at 10 am for ALL sections. Check out specific section's schedule on site. 

Sections: K-12 Open, K-12 U1200, K-12 U900, K-12 U600, K-6 U300, K-3 Nonrated, 4-8 Nonrated

Awards: Individual trophies for anyone scoring 2.5 out of 4 in each section. Team trophies for top 2 overall best school teams across sections. Medals for all. 

Entry Fee: $40 by February 10th, then $45 until February 16th, $50 on site. Refund is promised if withdrawal before round 1 starts. We don't accept credit cards.
