Pillsbury Bowl

The Pillsbury Bowl chess tournament will be hosted by the Springfield, MO. Chess Club.

Players will be divided into sections of six players based on rating, starting with the top-rated player and using USCF regular ratings. A 3-round Swiss will be played within each section. If the bottom section is not full, it might be combined with the next section up and a 3-round Swiss will be played.

Please enter by noon on June 6 so that sections can be organized.

What: 3-round Swiss. G/90;d5. US Chess Federation regular rated. Current USCF membership required.
When: June 7, 2025
Rounds: 10:00 AM, 2:15 PM, and 5:30 PM.
Where: Southside Senior Center, 2215 South Fremont, Springfield, MO. 65804.
Entry fee: $10 to the first player of each class who signs up by May 15. $25 entry for everyone else who signs up by May 15. $35 entry by May 31. $45 entry in June. $50 on the day of the tournament. No refunds.
Prizes: $100 to first in each section, $50 to second.
