Rose is the primary contact for governance matters at US Chess. She most recently worked as an Editorial Assistant for an academic journal. Prior to moving to the United States, Rose worked as a museum curator and research officer in Denbighshire Heritage Service. In this role, Rose managed and developed the institution’s collections in accordance with accepted standards.
Outside of her professional life, Rose is an avid community volunteer serving on as Secretary of the Board for the Greenville Choral Society for five years. Rose also volunteers with the Carolina Boxer Rescue, and her three dogs keep her active.
Rose has a B.A. in English Literature from University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. A Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, the Museums Association Diploma (the recognized professional qualification in the UK), and a M.A. in English Literature from East Carolina University.
Rose is based in Eastern North Carolina.
