Chris has been with US Chess since June 2017, helping make sure that all membership information is up to date. New to chess, she has found that “chess means so many different things to people for a variety of reasons. Working in membership allows me to interact with many of our members. Very often they share their stories about a certain chess tournament, who they played, etc., and at times the outcome. Always interesting for sure.” Before US Chess, she worked at the county prosecutor’s office and for attorneys in private practice for several years. Working for both the county (representing the plaintiff) and for a private office (representing criminal defendants) was a definite insight to the fact that there are two sides to every story. Outside of work, she enjoys family, reading, writing, and animals.
