Bryan Tillis started at US Chess in August 2024 as Marketing and Communications Manager. He is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all US Chess external communications, marketing strategies, public relations activities, and internal communications. Bryan also oversees the development and implementation of support materials and services for affiliates and committees.
As a national master and FIDE Trainer, Bryan brings a wealth of expertise and insight to both his playing and coaching roles. His dedication to the sport extends beyond mastery; Bryan is also a FIDE Arbiter and Senior Tournament Director, ensuring fair play and adherence to regulations in competitive chess.
Bryan serves on the board of the Florida Chess Association, where he has been part of a strong team that has played a pivotal role in promoting chess at a grassroots level fostering a vibrant chess community. He is also a respected board member of the Castle Chess camp in Atlanta, where he continues to mentor aspiring players and share his passion for the game.
Bryan has published eleven texts mostly on Chessable, a platform recognized for its innovative approach to chess learning and training. His publications not only reflect his deep understanding of chess theory and strategy but also serve as a resource for players seeking to improve their game.
