Event Overview
Join Pawnstormers in the fun, relaxed environs of Flip the Table - Toledo's finest board game lounge - for another exciting Monday Night Quads event! Anyone with a U.S. Chess membership is is eligible to register. If casual chess is more your speed, that will be available all evening, too.
Tournament Details:
Time: Doors open @ 6:00 p.m.; Tournament starts @ 6:30 p.m.
Format: Quads/Small Swiss (three rounds).
Sections: Players will be divided according to their published US Chess ratings.
Time Control: G/25, d5 (25 minutes per side with a five-second delay before the clock starts each move)
Entry Fee: $20 (including $5 fee payable to Flip the Table)
**Advance registrations are strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated!**
All minor players must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the event.
Chess sets will be provided, but please bring your own clock and know how to operate it.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.
