OU Championship Qualifier 2

Rated Tournament with 15+5 time controls. Players are put into rated swiss brackets and will play for 5 rounds. There will be 2 of these in Spring to qualify for the OU Chess Championship. Prizes go to 1-3rd place and qualifications go to the Top 6 that have yet to qualify (no prizes for double qualifications).

Dates - Feb 3 and March 30

Time - 12:00pm - 6:30pm

Entry Fee - $50 (covers the venue fee of $5 as well) ($5 entry for Master+ players, will be taken out of prize winnings if applicable)

Sections - Open and U1600 (scholastic is allowed)

Prize - Top 6 automatically qualify for OU Chess Championship

Open - 1st: $300 | 2nd: $200 | 3rd: $100 (Assuming 80 players)

U1600 - 1st: $150 | 2nd: $100 | 3rd: $60 (Assuming 80 players)

U1000 - 1st: $90 | 2nd: $50 | 3rd: $50 (Assuming 80 players)
