This Tournament is Ideal for players rated 1400-2400 who want to improve their FIDE Rating

FIDE QUADS – G/75;+30 = ONE DAY EVENT – Each player plays 3 games with players in their own rating range

* Players are required to play ALL 3 ROUNDS or will be penalized

Tournament Location: 182 Arnold Street, Coventry, RI 02816

Time Control: G/75;+30 (each player gets 75 minutes plus a 30 Second Increment)

One Day Schedule 
Round 1: 9:30 AM
Lunch: 1:00 – 1:45 PM
Round 2: 1:45 PM
Round 3: 5:15 PM

Entry Fee: $75 per person to play.

Prizes: $1,500 b/40 Players
* The Winner of Each Quad (4 players) wins $150 each

Additional Information
* Players in the same rating range will play each other.
* Players must have an active USCF & FIDE Membership
* Your performance in those games must correspond to a rating of at least 1400, not above 2400 (FIDE)
* Tournament will be both USCF and FIDE-rated
* Players receive a FIDE Rating after playing at least 5 games.
* If you don’t meet the requirements after your first 5 games, additional games can count until you do.
* Top 4 players will make up the first quad. The next 4 players make up the 2nd Quad, the next 4 make up the 3rd Quad, and so on.
* Must pre-register for this event by Friday, Nov. 6, 2026 @ 6:00 PM. No on-site registration

Byes: No Byes allowed; players must all complete 3 rounds of play for this event

A quad is a tournament with 4 players (3 Rounds), arranged so that everyone plays everyone else in the group
