Open Scholastic Chess Tournament - Sunday Side Event

Sunday April 19, 2026, 9:30 am-6:00 pm

SECTIONs: U600, U1000, U1400/Unrated (Limited to 1st 50 players)

TOURNAMENT LOCATION: Spanish River Library

1501 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 

ROUNDS: 5 rounds, G30; d5 Sections maybe combined for pairing purposes but not prizes. First Round: 9:30 then rest to follow immediately after.

PRIZES: Trophies to top two in each section with medals for places three and four. Tie breaks will be used to determine each place. 

ENTRY FEE: $40 if received by April 6; $50 if received by April 16 and $60 until April 18. Online entry closes at 8:30 AM on Sunday April 18. No onsite entry unless arrangements are made with Organizers or Chief Tournament Director.

USCF MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. If the USCF website does not show you as a current member, you will not be paired. New unrated players will receive a one-year paid US Chess membership.
