 DC All Girls State Championship Open to All Girls regardless of residence ( we had a address change)

Registration fee $10.00

Chess Girls DC is a community partner with DC Chess Association.

This is our annual Spring Girls Tournament.  The co - sponsor is Chess Girls DC.

 Although this is the DC Girls state championship all Girls regardless of state are invited to participate.

The DC Girl resident with the best performance will be nominated to represent DC in the Haring Girls Invitational in Madison Wisconsin.

Open tournament, Games start at 9:30 am. End approximately at 4:30pm. No onsite registration. Games must start on time.
 4 rounds, 45/d5, 1 section

Trophies for 1st to 10 th place. No cash prizes. Gifts for all players

Chess board provided bring your clock, Notation required
Players must notate if you are above 3rd grade and over 700 rating score
US Chess membership required for all players.  Scholarships available for USCF membership

No onsite registration onsite in order to start on time

This statement refers to DC residents only:
Must be a DC Chess Association, USCF Member, and DC resident to represent DC at the Haring event in Madison, Wisconsin. You will receive a DC Chess Association youth membership and you will receive a US Chess membership for $10.00.Winner of K-12 section who is a DC resident will be nominated to represent DC in the 2025 Haring Invitational tournament in Madison, Wisconsin. 
 
DC Chess Association membership not required for non DC residents.
