Sections:  

K-1, K-3, K-5  (Unrated)  Trophies: 1st – 7th Place

K-6, K-8, K-10 & K-12  (USCF Rated)  Trophies: 1st – 10th Place

Players in K6, K8, K10, K12 Sections MUST have a USChess Membership

USChess Memberships cost $20 & will be available on-site or at https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess

**Players are welcomed to play up into higher grade level divisions if desired**

Unrated  Sections: 5 Rounds SS, G/25+5  

&  Rated Sections: 4 Rounds SS, G/40+5

• One half-point bye can be requested (before pairing) for any round except the last round.

1st Place Tie breaks: Tiebreaks for first place will be determined by two G/5+3 games to be played at the end of the Last round.  With a tie of three or four players, a single round robin of G/5+3 will be played. In the event of a tie from the blitz games, G/10 Armageddon match(es) draw odds for black determined by bid.

Additional Awards:  “TOP GIRL” in each section.  “BIGGEST UPSET” among all rated sections -- cannot be won by an “unrated” player.

  • $5 for each online purchase of Accompanying Adult/Child ($10 on-site day of)
  • On-site registration from 8:30am to 9:15am
  • Players must check-in by 9:15 am.   First round at 9:30am.

** Later rounds will begin ASAP with a LUNCH BREAK after Round 2 (unrated) & after Round 1 (rated)

Chess clocks & boards provided BUT please also bring your own in case of limited supply.
