Morphy Cup

This year’s Morphy Cup will again be hosted by the Springfield, MO. Chess Club at the Southside Senior Center.

Players will be arranged into sections of four players based on US Chess Federation regular rating. The top four players will be in section one, the next four in section two, etc. The bottom two sections might be combined and treated as a single section with 3-round Swiss for pairing purposes.

Players must have a current US Chess Federation membership to enter.

Three rounds of G/90;d5. Saturday January 31. Rounds: 10:30 AM, 2:15 PM, 5:30 PM.

Prizes: $75 to first in each section.

Entry: $20 by January 16, $30 by January 23, $40 after January 23.
