Morphy Cup

Three rounds of G/90;d5.  Six-person sections based on USCF regular rating.  Current US Chess membership required.

Entry fee for November is $10.  Entry fee for December is $25.  Entry fee for January is $40.  Entry fee for February is $50.  Entry fee has to be paid within each month for that price.  If a player commits to playing in November but pays their entry in January, their entry fee is the January price of $40.  No refunds for withdrawals.  All entries need to be in by noon on February 7 so that sections can be organized prior to the tournament.

Prize for the top section is $150 to first and $75 to second.  Prizes for other sections are $100 to first and $50 to second.  The bottom section may be combined with the section above for pairing purposes if it is not full and will be considered one section.

Players will be organized by their regular US Chess rating, starting with the highest rated player.  Sections of six players will be sorted.  A 3-round Swiss with a G/90;d5 time control is played within each section.  

Round times 10 AM, 2:15 PM, 5:30 PM.
