Monthly Classical at Manchester YMCA

USCF Rated Chess tournaments every month at the Manchester YMCA.

Four rounds, one game each Tuesday at 6:30pm.

First round is on the first Tuesday of each month.

After first round, late-comers are still welcome to register for rounds 2, 3 and 4.

​USCF dual rated - classical and rapid. G/45;+5.

One open section

US Chess Federation membership required.

ENTRY FEE: $10 (to secure a 4-week chess-only YMCA ‘membership’ for venue access). Free entry to members of Granite YMCA.

First place secures free entry to a future Queen City Chess tournament.

6:00pm Check-in; Setup; Discussion on tactics and puzzle themes

6:30pm Check-in closes and round pairings are formulated

6:45pm Game clocks start ticking

YOUR OPPONENT MAY START YOUR CLOCK AT 6:45PM

Facility closes at 9pm

Metered on street parking available but limited. Parking garage is one block away at 2-98 Plaza Dr. in Manchester.

Accessibility: Elevator from street level is available. Ring buzzer for assistance. Chess event is on second floor.
