Mondays @ Portillo's

When: Mondays, Round 1 at 6:30pm; arrive by 6:15pm - please check https://www.facebook.com/bloomingtonnormalchess/ for any day-of updates. Round 1 pairings will be made at 6:20pm, any players arriving after pairings are made will receive a half-point bye for Round 1.
Where: Portillo's in Normal (202 Landmark Dr. Normal, IL 61761)
Who:  Adult-oriented. Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Format: USCF-Rated (must have active US Chess membership). 4 Rounds G15+2. Separate sections made at TD discretion. *Parents have been volunteering and running a section for younger/beginner children (we are happy to teach you how to enter results on the pairing computer). 
Entry Fee: $1; no prizes

No pre-registration required, please show up by 6:15pm in order to be paired for Round 1.

Note: The restaurant may get noisy, and we do not have any control over the noise level. Under this time control, games will only affect your USCF Quick rating.

Bring your own clocks and chess sets.
