Event Overview
Team Trophies!
Three players in the rated sections attending the same school (as of the spring 2026 semester). Teams have no upper limit;
the more players on a team, the higher the chances for a good result, but only the top 3 players’
results count for the team total. The team gains points by winning or drawing rated games. Points are
weighted, with results in higher sections worth more.

wanting a rating play in the Under 400.
OPEN SECTION: This Section is available to both adults and scholastic players. Scholastic players rated
over 1199 must play in this section; however, any scholastic player rated 1000+ may choose to play in
either the Open or kids-only Under 1200 section.
Players will be placed in the section that matches their rating unless granted an exemption by the
Tournament Director. Rated sections may be combined at TD discretion.
