The Missouri Open State Championship

Format:  5-round Swiss, Game/90 + d/15.   Two Sections:

Open: Overall Prizes: $500-1st, $300-2nd, $200-3rd  Class prizes: $200-1st in each Master (2200-2399), X, A, B.

• Top Scoring Senior earns 2024 US Senior Irwin State Champion Invite

Reserve (Under 1600): Overall Prizes: $300-1st,$250-2nd,$200-3rd  Class Prizes: $150-1st in each C, D, E/U1200.

• Top Missouri resident earns 2019 Reserve Champion Title & Plaque

Registration:  Saturday 8:30-9:45 am.

Round Times:  Saturday-10:00 am, 2:30 pm, 7:00 pm. Sunday-9:30 am, 2:00 pm.

Entry fee*:  $50.00 by 6pm 11/10, $60.00 on site.  Free Entry for IM/GMs.

Byes:  Maximum one ½-point bye, must be declared by round 2.

Memberships:  USCF-available on site; MCA membership required for MO residents, available on site from $5, Other States Accepted.

(Out-of-State players are welcome to play and qualify for cash prizes. Must be a Missouri resident to win championship title and plaque}
