Milwaukee Winter Chess Tournament

Online registration is open at the university ticketing site. Entry fee is $40 before December 8, $50 after. Current students at UW-Milwaukee get free entry with valid USCF membership.

On-site Registration begins at 8:30am on Saturday, December 10 - you will need to bring a smartphone or computer to register on-site.

The prize pool will be determined by the number of entrants. All proceeds from this tournament will help the Chess Club at UWM fund attendance at future chess tournaments.

  • 9am (Round 1)
  • 11:30am (Round 2)
  • 2pm (Round 3)
  • 5:30pm (Round 4)
• Sunday, December 11
  • 9am (Round 5)
  • 12pm (Round 6)
  • 3pm (Round 7)

Half-point byes may be requested through the 5th round

• Open
• U1600
• U1200

The tournament director reserves the right to move players in the U1600 section to the Open or U1200 depending on the number of players in each section.
