McMinnville Chess Tournament

McMinnville Chess Tournament is on Saturday, May 10th, from 9am-1pm. Join us! 

We're meeting at Evergreen Museum, where we've reserved several rooms to accommodate our event and comfortably accommodate up to 30 players. Tickets are $15, and there's no fee at all to current club members at any level (monthly, annual, and lifetime). We also have a scholarship program and a discount code for anyone who asks. No one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.
 

Members are asked to bring their own chess clocks and boards (BYOB!), keep open containers away from game boards and equipment, and are expected to agree to our Community Code of Conduct for a fun, supportive space for everyone. A limited number of club-provided chess sets and clocks will be available, first-come, first-served.

• Tournament is open to all until tickets sell out
• There are sections for both US Chess-rated and -unrated players of all ages
• We have four divisions, Youth Rated, Youth Unrated, Adult Rated, and Adult Unrated, with preference given to youth players in our community and beyond
• More details will be sent to you after registration
• There will be prizes for the winners!
• We begin promply at 9am, and there are no refunds for late- or no-shows
