Event Overview
The Manasota Chess Center will hold a U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) rated 4-round Swiss tournament for up to 36 players. All rounds are Game in 25 minutes, with 5-second delay.
PRIZES: (contingent upon 18 entries) $100 - $70 - $40; U1400 = $30; U1000 = one free chess lesson with Manasota Chess Center coach.
ROUNDS: 4 rounds. Round 1 begins at 12 noon.
ENTRY FEE: If registered before tournament day, $20 for Manasota Chess Center members; $25 for non-members. If registering on tournament day, $25 for Manasota Chess Center members; $30 for non-members. NOTE: Manasota Chess Center members should enter discount code when completing online registration form.
REGISTRATION:
- Register online at manasotachess.org/tlaregister
- ALL PLAYERS must have a valid USCF membership ID# to participate. Non-USCF members can purchase a membership or renew at the tournament site. USCF membership MUST be purchased or renewed before the tournament begins.
- Online registration ends at 11AM, Sunday, the day of the tournament.
- On-site/walk-in registration occurs from 11:30AM to 11:50AM.
- Players that are not at tournament site at least 5 minutes before Round 1 start time, will be withdrawn from the tournament.
