About the Series:
The Lowcountry Scholastic Grand Prix 2025-2026 is a series of 12 monthly tournaments running from June 2025 to May 2026.
🏆Year-End Awards will be given to the top 3 players with highest cumulative points across the series,
🏆 Special prize for the highest USCF rating gain over the series!
All participants are eligible for year-end awards, no matter how many events they play.
Format: Quads Tournament - Players are grouped in quads, based on their rating. Each player plays 3 round-robin games - one against each opponent in their group. This format ensures all players face opponents closest to their own rating, making it one of the most balanced and competitive formats.
⏳Time Control: 25 minutes with 5 seconds increment.
Sections: Rated and Unrated.
Entry Fee: $20
Prizes: Winner of each quad gets a trophy.
