Livingston High School December Quads

Format: USCF-rated IN-PERSON quad tournament (occasionally small Swiss based on entries).

Online registration deadline: Closes at 9:00 PM on December 13th

Onsite registration: Available on the day of the tournament from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. $30 cash for onsite registration

Ratings: Rated sections use published ratings. A US Chess membership is required.

Time Control: G 25 d/5

Rounds: Three rounds starting at 9:00 PLEASE BE ON TIME  and following rounds will start ASAP.

Entry fee: $25

Prizes: $40 prize to the winner of each quad. A second place prize is available for sections larger than four players.

Safety: No food is allowed in the playing area.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to play in this event, you may withdraw by email no later than the end of online registration (9:00 PM the Friday before the event). Please email Click here to show mail address. Refunds are subject to a $10 fee which covers administrative and credit card processing charges. There will be no refunds or credits given for withdrawals after the close of online registration. Refunds will be processed within 7 days after the tournament.

Photo Release Policy: Photography and/or video recording will occur at the tournament. By registering for this event, you hereby give permission for your name and/or picture to appear on the LHS Chess Club’s social media accounts and website/promotions. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the first round.
