Event Overview
Scholastic Chess Tournament designed for beginners and players with a short experience.
ONLY FOR K-12 PLAYERS RATED UNDER 1000.
4 Rounds Swiss Game in 25/5d.
Entry Fee: $25 by Wednesday, $30 by Friday, $35 Same Day. Full refund if canceling up to 1 hour before the event. No refund after that.
Sections: Open, K-12 Under 600, K-3 Under 500, and K-3 Under 200. Highest rating will be used for sections and prizes. Half point Byes available in all 4 rounds (Max 2) and must be requested before round 2.
Schedule: First round starts at 2:00 PM. Rounds 2, 3, and 4 will start as soon as the previous round is over. Ceremony will follow right after the 4th round is over.
Prizes: Trophy for every Kindergarten! Trophies for top 5 in each section, and Top 3 School Team.
USCF membership is required.
