All players must have an active USCF membership to participate ($20/year for youth).
ROUNDS: 4 rounds swiss system (no eliminations), G/30; d5. Sets, clocks, and score sheets will be provided.
Byes: Players may request one ½-point bye with entry.
SECTIONS
K–8 OPEN: Open to students in grades K–8. Unrated players (those who don’t yet have a rating
from the USCF) may play in this section. Trophies to top 3 players, top U1000, and top unrated.
K–5 U800: Open to students in grades K–5 with a USCF rating below 800. Unrated players in
grades K–5 may also play in this section. Trophies to top 3 players, top U500, and top unrated.
K–3 U400: Open to students in grades K–3 with a USCF rating below 400. Unrated players in
grades K–3 may also play in this section. Trophies to top 3 players, top U200, and top unrated.
Tie breaks: Ties for all trophies will be broken using blitz knockout playoffs (5 minutes per
player).
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION: Registration is online only and is open until May 31st.
