Event Overview

The tournament runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Late Registration at 8:00 AM

K-3 & K-5 Round 1 begins at 8:30 AM

K-8 & K-12 Round 1 begins at 8:15 AM

US Chess Federation membership is required before registering!

We expect the K-3 section to finish before 12:00.
 
We expect the K-5 section to finish before 1:00.
 
We expect the K-8 & K12 sections to finish around 2:30.
 

Sections and time controls:

K-3, K-5: 5 games in each section, G/30

K-8, K-12: 4 games in each section, G/40 +10 seconds per move

Sections may be combined if necessary. Players still compete for prizes in their grade section only, even in a combined section.

Entry Fee: $30 per player online by 8:00 PM Friday 12/6, $35 for onsite entry at 8:00 AM on Saturday

Trophies: 3 in each section & additional prizes depending on the number of entries.

Refunds: There are no cash refunds. A credit will be given to anyone who withdraws via E-mail by 8:00 PM Friday 12/6. The credit is good at either my 1/11/25 tournament or my 2/8/25 tournament.
