K-12 Under 1200 Swiss

K-12 UNDER 1200 SWISS TOURNAMENT

Saturday, February 8th at 9am in basking ridge

Join us for our K-12 Under 1200 Swiss Tournament at Pingry Basking Ridge.

There will be three sections based on age and skill. All players will have four games of non-elimination chess with a time control of game/25 minutes; delay/5 seconds. Each game could last as long as one hour.

Sections:

K-3 Under 400- for players in grades K-3 that are unrated, or have ratings 399 and below

K-6 Under 700- for players in grades K-6 that are unrated, or have ratings 699 and below

K-12 Under 1200- for players in grades K-12 that are unrated, or have ratings 1199 and below

Awards:

Trophies will be given to the top three individuals and top team in each section

Entry:

Early bird pricing of $40 by the Tuesday before the tournament. After that, the regualr price is $50. Online registration closes Friday, 2/7, at which point walk-ins are welcome, space permitting.

Additional:

Free WiFi, pencils, scoresheets provided. Boards, pieces and clocks provided. Plenty of space for families to wait comfortably for their children. Tables, WiFi, seating to get work done while your child plays.
