Three Sections of Non-Elimination Chess

K-3 Under 400, K-6 Under 700, K-12 Under 1200

Time Control: G/25; d/5

This tournament has three sections based on age and skill. Players will only play opponents in their section. All sections begin at 9am, and they are all four rounds and non-elimination. The tournament will conclude between 12-1pm with an awards ceremony, in which the top individuals and team in each section will win trophies.

• Walk-in players should arrive no later than 8:30am, or risk missing the first round
• Games begin at 9am
• There are four rounds (games) of non-elimination chess
• The time control is G/25; d/5 (game in 25 minutes per player with a five second delay per move)
• Free on-site Wifi provided
• Free scoresheets and pencils provided
• Trophies to the top 3 individuals and top team in each section
• Arrive and check-in by 8:45am at the latest. Announcements will begin promptly at 8:50, and round 1 will start at 9am

Plenty of space, tables, chairs and WiFi for parents to work and relax while the children play. This is a beginner-friendly tournament.
