Entry Fee

• $10.00 for event (WLR Members pay $5.00)

• Space available for only 16 players

• Register and pay online, or onsite starting @4:30 PM and closes promptly @5:30 PM

• No refunds after 5:30 PM

• All ages and skill levels are welcomed!

Blitz Quad and Prizes (Based on 6 full priced entries): 

• 1st Place - $15.00

• 2nd Place - $10.00 

• 3rd Place - $5.00

Tiebreaks:

• Standard USCF Tiebreakers will be used in all sections to determine the winner. See rule 34F in the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess for tiebreak details.

• Players must be familiar with the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess

• TD has discretion to arrange ratings for pairings, prize purposes and can arrange sections or quads

• All unrated players will be placed in the lower section

• No byes available

• Registration subject to early closure

• Players may not possess cell phones or any other electronic device during play. 

• If a player withdraws midway through the tournament, this can create problems for the rest of the players. Please only play if you can play all rounds.

• By registering for or attending this event, players and guests grant permission to WLR Chess Club to take and use photographs and video for purposes related to the event.
