Event Overview
This is the official registration for the IU Chess Club and Hoosier Chess Academy quad tournaments, beginning Sunday, September 22. ANYONE is welcome, not just IU students!
- When: 2nd and 4th Sundays EACH MONTH, 1:30-4pm
- Where: Indiana University Memorial Union, 900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405
- Specific rooms: Upon registration, an email will be sent out with information on the specific room of the tournament within the IMU. Be patient!
- Tournament format: Quads (four players in a quad play each other) with a time control of G25 +5.
- USCF: All players must have a valid, non-expired USCF membership. We will be checking!
- Entry fee: $10 on site via cash, Venmo, or another online payment method. Checks not accepted—we are IU students in the digital era. REGISTER: https://forms.gle/VfqaK3BjqTtc7c6b7
- Prizes: 1st place in each quad $30, 2nd and 3rd places may receive lesser amounts
