USCF Rated; 4 Rounds SS; G/90+30
Rounds: 10:00 AM & 2:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday
Eligibility: Open to players aged 50 or older as of July 28, 2025
Registration & Entry Fee:
Entry Fee: $60 ($10 ISCA Member Discount)
Late Fee: All entries $10 more after April 23

Deadline: Must be registered by 9:30 AM on April 26 to guarantee first-round pairing
Byes:
One 1/2 point bye available in rounds 1-3, must request before round one starts.
Prizes:
Prize Fund: $500 b/20
1st Place: $175; 2nd Place: $125
Rating Prizes: $300 allocated using the UK method
Top 3 Indiana Residents: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals
Top Indiana Resident: Receives an invitation to the USCF Irwin Invitational (held in conjunction with the US Open in Middleton, WI, July 28-31, 2025)
Other Details:
- Top 3 DGT boards will be live-streamed
- April Published Ratings Used
- No cell phones/devices during play
- All devices must be turned off (face-down on the table is acceptable)
- No eating during games
- Light concessions may be available for sale on-site
- Water & Coffee will be provided
- Please bring your own chess sets (a limited number of boards, sets, & clocks will be available if needed)
- Carbon scoresheets will be provided. Players must turn in the signed top copy to report game results.
- Side event: Summit Chess Club will organize side events on Saturday evening after Round 2 of the Senior event to help defray venue costs. More details coming soon.
