ICEA 2022 September OTB Chess Tournament [Sept. 18 + Sept 25]

Tournament Date (2 Sundays):

Sunday, Sept 18th, 2022 + Sunday, Sept 25th, 2022

Format:

• 1800+ Section: 4 Round SS, 2 Rounds on Sept 18th + 2 Rounds on Sept 25th, FIDE rated + USCF rated
• 1000+ Section: 4 Round SS on One Day (Sept 18th or Sept 25th), USCF Rated only
• U1000 Section: 3 Double Rounds SS on One Day (Sept 18th or Sept 25th), USCF Rated only 

Time Control & Schedule:

• 1800+: G/90;+30 (Sept. 18th: 9am / 2pm + Sept 25th: 9am / 2pm)
• 1000+: G/45:+5 (9 am, 11 am, 2pm, 4pm PT) (Sept 18th or Sept 25th)
• U1000 section:  3 double rounds of G/30;+5 (9 am, 11 am, 2 pm PT)  (Sept 18th or Sept 25th)

Note:

1. Email to chess@icea1.org to request advance byes if you need to miss any rounds. One half-point bye available for 1800+ & 1000+ sections.
2. Players should bring their own sets & clocks & pencils & scoresheets.
3. We will use September 2022 (or most recent) supplement ratings for the pairing.
4. TD reserves the right to adjust ratings and the sections in unusual circumstances.

PRIZES (70% of collection goes to Prize Fund): 

6-10 Players: Top 3 players

11-20 Players: Top 4 Players

(if less than 6 players, we might combine the sections)
