ENTRY:​

• FREE ENTRY for Masters (USCF 2200+); $50 deductible from prizes.

• Registration online, pay online or on-site - https://wlrchessclub3.wixsite.com/wlrcc/events-1

• Refistration starting @5:30 PM on Friday, May 17th and closes promptly @6:15 PM.

• $45.00 if paid by May 10th, 2024, $55.00 on or after May 11th.

• No refunds after 6:15PM on Friday.

• All ages and skill levels are welcomed

2-Day Schedule

Round 1: Fri - 6:30 PM

Round 2: Sat - 11:00 AM

Lunch 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Round 3: Sat - 3:00 PM

Round 4: Sat - 6:30 PM

​Closing ceremony: After the last game finishes!

Tiebreaks:

• Standard USCF Tiebreakers will be used in all sections to determine the winner. If there is a tie for 1st place. There will be no playoff game to determine winners. See rule 34C in the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess for tiebreak details.

• USCF membership required; Renew here

• Players must be familiar with the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess

• TD has discretion to arrange ratings for pairings, prize purposes and can arrange sections.

• Playing up, players can play up to the next section if their USCF Rating is within 150 points of the next section.

• All unrated players will be placed in the lower section unless proof can be shown using chess.com or lichess.org that they belong in a different section.

• No byes available. Registration subject to early closure.

• Players may not possess cell phones or any other electronic device during play. 

• If a player withdraws midway through the tournament, this can create problems for the rest of the players. Please only play if you can play all rounds.

• Top DGT board in 1600+ sections will be broadcasted live online!
