Henrico May Rapid and Scholastic

Henrico Second Saturday - Scholastic and Rapid,  May 11, 2024

Tournaments will be in the Upstairs Common Room at Publix, 2250 John Rolfe Pkwy, Henrico, VA 23233

What:   Open Section is Rapid 15 min +5 second increment;  5 rounds Swiss style (G/15;+5) 

Scholastic Section is Game in 25 +5 second increment; 3 rounds Swiss style (G/25;+5)

When:  Second Saturday of the Month (May 11, 2024)
First Round for all sections is at 1:00 pm, registration ends at 12:30 pm

The TD will go over rules and pairings before the 1st round starts. 

Where:  The Upstairs Common Room at the Publix at John Rolfe Parkway

Notes:  Please bring a clock and board if possible. Touch-move is in effect. 

Prizes:  Open section: 1st Place  $30 guaranteed with 4 entrees in the section,
                                        with 10+ entrees in the section 2nd place $20, 3rd Place $10
              Scholastic section: 1st Place trophy and medals for  2nd and 3rd.
                                

Registration:  Open $30.  Scholastic $25

Registration and check-in will be between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm. Anyone not checked in or in line to register 15 minutes before the first round may miss the first round.  

Open Section Rounds G/15;+5 

Round 1 at 1:00 pm, Rd 2 at 1:50 pm, Rd 3 at 2:40 pm, Rd 4 at 3:30 pm, Rd 5 at 4:20 pm

Scholastic Section Rounds G/25;+5

Round 1 at 1:00 pm, Rd 2 at 2:10 pm, Rd 3 at 3:20 pm
