Henrico Chess Academy August Rapid  G/15;+5

What:  There will be an Open section and a U1200 section. Each will be Swiss style with 5 rounds of 15 min, 5 sec time increments.

When:  Sunday, August 13 from 2:45 pm--7:30 pm with play starting at 3:00 pm. 

The TD will go over rules and pairings at 2:45 and the 1st round starts at 3:00 pm, 2nd round at 3:45 pm, 3rd round at 4:30 pm, 15-minute break, 4th round at 5:30 pm, and the last round starts at 6:15 pm.  Times will be adjusted as needed. 

Where:  The Upstairs Common Room at the Publix at Crossridge, 10250 Staples Mill Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060 

Notes:  Please bring a clock and board if possible. Touch move is in effect. 

Prizes:  Open section: 1st Place  $70 guaranteed with 4 entrees in the section,
                                        with 15+ entrees in the section 2nd place $50, 3rd Place $30
              U1200 section: 1st Place $45 guaranteed with 4 entrees in the section,
                                          with 15+ entrees in a section 2nd place $35, 3rd Place $ 25
                                  Prize money will be distributed by final rankings as decided by SwissSys.  

Registration:  $35 until August 7, then $40. Registration and check-in will be between 2:00 pm and 2:45 pm. Anyone that is not checked in or in line to register by 2:45 pm may miss the first round.
