Tournament:  The Hamden June Action (USCF-rated; 4SS; G30,d5; In-Person)
Date and Time:   Saturday, June 25, 2022; 
                             Round 1 at 1:00PM; subsequent rounds a.s.a.p
Location:  Play More Chess Academy, 1227 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06517
Rounds/Time Control:  4SS; G/30, d5   (Tournament is expected to finish approximately 5:45pm
Byes:  Up to one 1/2 point bye may be taken for any round you cannot attend.  Must be requested via emailing: [email protected] prior to close of registration, 11:00am, day of tournament. 
Two Sections: Open (minimum 1400 required for this section) and  U1500
Entry fee: $25-40  (Discounts for early entry and for Hamden Chess Club members)
Entry deadline:  Early entry discounted fee: Thu midnight;  Regular entry deadline: Sat. 11:00AM  Sign up link:  https://caissachess.net/online-registration/index/1561  No on-site registration.
Prizes:  $400 (based on 20 entries). Open: $120 for 1st; $60 for 2nd;  $40 for 3rd;  U1500: $100 for 1st; $50 for 2nd; $30 for 3rd
Refunds/Cancellation Policy:  If you cannot play in this event, you may withdraw by emailing: [email protected] no later than 11:59 PM on June 23 (the Thursday before the tournament). Refunds must be requested by email.  No withdrawals or refund requests by telephone.  There are no refunds for No-Shows.  Refunds are subject to a $15 cancellation fee to cover administrative and credit card processing charges.

• USCF membership is required prior to registering for this tournament - available at uschess.org 
• Players rated between 1400 and 1499 may choose to play in either the Open or U1500 section
