Greensboro 5-0-5 Open (December 2025)

The tournament will consist of 3 rounds of U.S. Dual rated chess (both Quick and Regular ratings) at time control Game/50; delay 5 (each opponent has 50 total minutes, your timer only declines when it's your move, timeout means loss, 5 seconds elapse before your timer starts declining on each move).

Entry fee is $25 per player, cash or CashApp/ApplePay only accepted. 70% of all entry-fee money will be awarded to first and second place finishers via checks!

Registration- 9am to 9:40 am
Round one- 9:45am
Round two- 11:40am
Round three- 2:00pm

U.S. Chess Federation membership required! Sign up at uschess.org if you need to.

Players allowed to register and then leave/drop out of the Tournament early, or request a 1/2 point BYE (unplayed round) for any round; requests for BYE must be made before round 1 begins. The venue has food within short driving distance.
