Schedule:

1-day event: 4 Rounds

Time Control: G/45 min + 5 sec inc (11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm)

Byes: Up to two ½ point byes available if requested before the end of round 2, cannot be changed. 

*TD reserves the right to combine sections based on turnout.* Unrated may play up at TD’s discretion. 

Bring boards, sets and clocks, supplies are limited.  

Entry Fees: $36 by 9/4, $45 after. 

FortChess Club Members: $30

Discounts: $10 discount to senior players (55+).  Family Discount $10 off 3 or more family members (ex. $36, $36, $26, $26 if 4 family members)

 

Re-entry: Re-entry is not allowed.

Playing Up: Players may play up ONE section for a $15 fee. 

Minimum USCF rating to play up in the Class A Section is 1800, no exceptions (unless paying to play-up under TD discretion).

Cash at site, no checks or CC. Please join / renew USCF membership at least 24 hours before the tournament. Maximum player capacity may be limited to 50.

Early registration is highly encouraged. Sign up early and guarantee your spot!

On site registration:  Saturday: 10 am to 10:30 am.

Face coverings may be required depending on Indiana Covid-19 rules

Sanitizer, Scoresheets, pens, ibuprofen etc., (All Free)

Food will be catered and served by a local chef for a small fee.  Donations also appreciated for this service!

No eating at the board, drinks are ok.
