Event Overview

The sections for this event: (K-1, K-3, K-5, & K-8). The first round starts at 9:30AM sharp, we will have the wallcharts posted of who have registered online, please check the posted registration sheets when arriving.

There will be five games of 25min; 5-second delay for both players meaning each round should last about an hour. We start the rounds one after the other with a lunch break built in around noon. With the awards ceremony and lunch the tournament should start at 9:30AM and end at 5:00PM at the latest. Parents are asked to be on site at 4:00PM. Prizes are trophies to the top player in each section with medals to places 2-5 with the titles for the top finishers: Florida State Champion (in the event of a tie the players are Co-Champions, USCF tiebreaks used to decide the trophy).

The Haring Tournament of Champions qualification spot is decided by the top finishing K-12 girl in the 2-day Florida State Women’s Championship.
