First Annual Alumni Tournament 2022

Onsite Registration and Check-in: 7:30 AM-8:30 AM

Players arriving after registration will receive a half-point bye for Round 1 and will be paired in subsequent rounds. 

Open Rated* - 4 Round SS, G/30;d5. 1st rd starts at 9:00 AM, following rds ASAP. Prizes: $200 GUARANTEED prize fund, 1st $100+customizable chess board (if no tiebreak possible, customizable chess boards for both), 2nd $50, 3rd $25, biggest upset win $25, recognition medallions for 1st-8th place.

*USCF membership is required for the Open Rated section.

Unrated - 4 Round SS, G/30;d5. 1st rd starts at 9:00 AM, following rds ASAP. Prizes: 1st customizable chess board, recognition medallions for 1st-8th place.

Players younger than high school age (~14) MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Simultaneous chess immediately follows the conclusion of the tournament sections. This simul will be conducted by David Gilchrist and his son, Ian.

Registration: Early registration (by 06/17/2022) includes onsite meal options (FREE Special Breakfast/Lunch for kids 0-18), Regular registration ends at 8:00 AM Saturday, June 25th, 2022. Register HERE

Pre-ordered food options* for early registration:

• Breakfast - $5.00 - is fresh baked muffin and fruit with coffee, water, or juice.
• Lunch - $12.00 - is a crispy chicken sandwich with chips, pickle, cookie,  and tea or water.

*NOT the same as the Special Meal options FREE to kids 0-18.

The Foundation should have a SILENT AUCTION on site with items from local businesses, services, etc.
