954Chess' FIDE Forum is a swiss format, Two-sections: "1900-plus" (must be rated 1900+ FIDE) and "U1900" (any rating under 1900 FIDE including unrated), 5 round event that is both FIDE and USCF rated. FIRST 28 PLAYERS ONLY!... Designed for local players seeking opportunities to increase their FIDE ratings... Entry fees: free for GMs, IMs, WGMs & WIMs (please email [email protected] for conditions by 12/5). $175 for both FIDE 1900-plus and FIDE U1900 sections by 12/14 and $200 after... Registration ends 12/17 at 11:30pm, NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION!... PRIZES: U1900; $400-$250-$175... There are no cash prizes for 1900-plus section... Time control: 40/90, SD/30;d30... Schedule: 12/19 @6:30PM, 12/20-21 @11AM & 6PM... Play will be governed by the FIDE Laws of Chess. Up to two half point byes allowed (Arbiter/Organizer must be notified 1 hour before the start of round two). If a player wishes to withdraw or cannot play a round, the player must notify the Arbiter/Organizer 1 hour before the start of that round or the player will be fined $50 which must be paid in full before the player is allowed to continue to play the event or any future 954Chess FIDE rated events (player will be withdrawn or given 0 point byes for rounds missed)... PAIRINGS CANNOT BE CHANGED ONCE PUBLISHED!... For special group rate at the Courtyard Marriott please use call hotel and ask for the "chess rate"  ...
