All players must have a valid FIDE ID to participate.

Tournament Format

• Section: Open (all players compete together)

• 14 Games (1 game each round)

• Time Control: G/3 + 2 (3 minutes + 2-second increment per move)

• Entry Fee: Free (We ask for a $20 donation for tournament prizes.)

• Player Cap: 60 players

• Prizes: Top 3 finishers each receive a 1-month Diamond Membership on Chess.com

• Other prizes will be added onsite

• Round 1: 4:00 PM

• Round 2: 4:20 PM

• Round 3: 4:40 PM

• Round 4: 5:00 PM

• Round 5: 5:20 PM

• Round 6: 5:40 PM

• Round 7: 6:00 PM

• Round 8: 6:20 PM

• Round 9: 6:40 PM

• Round 10: 7:00 PM

• Round 11: 7:20 PM

• Round 12: 7:40 PM

• Round 13: 8:00 PM

• Round 14: 8:20 PM
   

Rules and Requirements

• FIDE Blitz rules apply

• Players must bring their own chess board and clock

• Default forfeit time: 3 minutes

• Up to 2 half-point byes may be requested
