Format Time Control: Game in 3 minutes with a 2-second increment (G/3 +2).

Rules:
Conducted under official US Chess Blitz Chess Regulations:
Rule 11A (US Chess Official Rules, p. 20): Defines blitz time controls (5 minutes or less per player, with or without increment).
Rule 14 (US Chess Official Rules, p. 141): Covers blitz-specific rules of play.
Sections: Rated and Open. Groups of 5β8 players. Each round will be two games against the same opponent (round robin style).
Rounds: Begin as soon as pairings are ready, or every 30 minutes starting at 6:00 PM.
Flexibility: The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the number of rounds, pairings, or section sizes depending on turnout.
Eligibility: Open to all players. USCF membership is not required.
Rated sections may be offered if all players in that section have current USCF memberships.
Registration Entry Fee: $10 ($15 if registering on-site after 5:00 PM).
Deadline: Same-day registration closes promptly before Round 1. Late registrants may receive a first-round bye.
Procedure: All pre-registered players will be paired and clocks started on time. Please notify the Tournament Director if you cannot attend.

Prizes: Prize Fund: 90% of entry fees will be returned as prizes.
Byes: One half-point bye available if requested prior to the start of Round 1.
Equipment: Boards and clocks will be provided. Players are encouraged to bring their own clocks.
Note: If there is insufficient interest for formal pairings, the evening will instead be held as a casual meet-and-greet with open play.
