Fall Classic - Saturday Sept 26 @ 12pm EST
$750 Prize Fund based on 50 entries
Fall Classic will be conducted online on lichess.org for adult and scholastic players of all levels.
USCF Online Standard Rated. Does not affect over the board ratings.
Free USCF membership provided for new or expired scholastic members.
Players must be on Zoom with side angle camera for all games to be eligible to win prizes except U1200 section, face camera ok.
Format: 4 Round Swiss. 3 Sections: Open, U1800, U1200.
Time Limit: G/30 with 5 second increment. Rounds: 12-1:30-2:45-4:00. U1200 paired ASAP.
Entry Fee: $30 by 11pm September 24th, $35 after, IM-GM free.
Registration closes at 11:59pm, September 25th.
Registration: at progresswithchess.org/fall before 11pm, Friday Sept 25.
Prizes (based on 50): Open: $150-$75, U2200: $75, U2000: $50. U1800: $100-$50, U1500: $50. U1200: $100-$50, U900 $50.
Instructions will be emailed to you regarding how to access the tournament on lichess.org, login on Zoom and setup side angle cameras. Players using chess engine assistance will be flagged by lichess.org, reported to the USCF Ethics Committee and face disciplinary action.
